Around Carolina: The Cookery – News14.com

A few days ago we had a TV spot on Time Warner Cable’s News 14. The Cookery is the commissary we operate out of. American Meltdown, Big Spoon Roasters and The Cookery are interviewed. the Chirba Dumpling truck is loading up…so it goes inside the Cookery.

A Sunday with KISS/Motley Crue, The New York Times & Fans

Well yesterday was a blast and we thought we would share some highlights. 4G service is a bit spotty out at the Time Warner Music Pavilion so I couldn’t share these images in real-time. Our first surprise was The New York Times subscription table giving out FREE KISS shirts for a subscription.

Not a bad deal at all. One of the best things about this particular concert was the fans and costumes. We hope to have as loyal a fan base as KISS one day. Entire families arrived on site with the signature KISS makeup, and some wild costume interpretations. There weren’t as many fans dressed in full costume BUT this young gent had the best homemade costume we saw all evening:

I didn’t quite capture the leg armor in the pic. When I asked about what the material was he replied:

“Its old bath towels…you have to work with what you got, ya know?” We live by that phrase every day.
